Ambient air enters the MINI FINE PARTICULATE SAMPLER GTI-141 system through an Omni-directional inlet designed to provide a clean aerodynamic cut-point for particles greater than 10 microns. Particles in their stream
finer than 10 microns proceed to a second impactor that has an aerodynamic cut point at 2.5 microns. The air sample and fine particulates exiting from the PM2.5 impactor is passed
through a 47mm diameter Teflon filter membrane that retains the FPM.
The GREENTECH GTI- 141 system allows removal of the PM2.5 impactor from the sample
stream so that the same system may be optionally used as a PM10 Sampler.
PM10and PM2.5 Impactors of sampler based on designs standardized by USEPA. The APM 131 uses a oil free pump with a low noise. Same instrument can be used for PM10 and PM2.5 sampling. Lower sampling rate of 1m3/hr reduces filter choking even in areas having high FPM levels. Critical Orifice maintains constant sampling rate of 1m3/hour. Compact and portable for convenient field operation.
